Can citizens of China travel go to Taiwan without visa? I heard that China citizens need visa to go to Hong Kong even for just 1 day even though Hong Kong is part of China. Do they also need visa going to Taiwan? Can Taiwan citizen travel to China or Hong Kong without visa? Any exceptions?

Something like a good fishing spot, a beautiful mountain to hike up ( I have been to Alishan ), a nice beach to visit, or just some good roads to cruise along. If anyone has a good suggestion of a good 1 day or weekend trip or activity in Taiwan please pass it on. Something to escape the daily routine of life in Taichung. Some place that is quiet or scenic, some place that is interesting or something that is different. I have been here 4 years so it can be some place that is not normal for tourists, or a place that is best to return to often. Thanks
