Climbing Mt Jade (Yushan) requires experience? I'm interested in going to Taiwan and read about Mt Jade/Yushan and since I've never done any climbing before I was wondering if it was a) Challenging b) Doable without climbing experience c) That steep Since I'm not a climber I don't know any terminology. When a mountain can be climbed does that mean like rock climbing? Or can it mean just a steep hike? I'm assuming that if it's a steep hike you don't need prior experience Has anyone conquered the mountain and cares to tell the tale?
Why does anyone have any interest in or care about Jade Goody? It is completely beyond me why anyone has any interest in Jade Goody? There has been back to back shows involving her on Living today! I don't understand why the death of someone changes public opinion! Before she was diagnosed as terminally ill she was known as a fat, stupid, scaly racist who had made her fortune through getting famous for getting naked on reality TV, generally shaming herself and making idiotic, moronic comments! I found it very ironic and fitting that Big Brother made her and then destroyed her after her racist bulling of the Indian beauty Shilpa Shetty. It was quite a fitting end to her undeserved celebrity lime light! But then she gets, ill and dies and it's like we've lost an icon! Some brain dead chav on the news likened it to the national morning of Princess Diana! It really saddens me as we lost the iconic pioneer of Ski BASE, Freestyle, Big Mountain Skiing Shane McConkey over the last couple of weeks and it doesn't even make the news, however every magazine seems to still have her horrible fat ugly mug on the front! Don't get me wrong I feel for her children and it is terrible that they have to grow up with out a mother, however it is beyond me why anyone cares about JADE GOODY! Shane McConkey: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9U6XGPzLX10 Jade Goody: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNNSJcGnRNw Please enlighten me!! If you don't know who she is watch the Youtube video I've posted!!

I will be needing a new bike that can handle the jump. and i will be needing a jump aswel, which is quite large. Please help me out here, i am very determined and i have my mind stuck on doing this jump thankyou, Jade i sure am thats if i can get a large company behind me to suport me though it thankyou for the luck, im gonna need it haha well.. im currently not winning races, since racing is not my specialty. My main area of interest is freeride.. and going real big. So i think its going to be hard to get a sponsor for this event... and esspecially at my age aswel..
Freestyle skis or all-mountain? I am an advanced skiier, I am not particularly fond of moguls but I'd like to get better. The likelihood that I'll be on the half-pipe in my lifetime is very very slim. However I do love speed and enjoy learning easy tricks like small jumps and on the snow 360s (which I've almost got down). Is a freestyle ski too much for me? Would it make a difference in anything I do or do I just need a basic all-mountain (which is what I have now). I am looking at the Salomon Mynx or the Jewel Jade. Any brand recommendations and advice is appreciated. Thanks! Should I consider twin tips ?
Is it time to put on a death watch on Amy Winehouse? From gossip site http://www.TMZ.com: Winehouse's Bloody Mess Posted Sep 1st 2007 11:11AM by TMZ Staff Filed under: Train Wrecks Rehabbing "Rehab" singer Amy Winehouse was a bloody wreck this week when she violently vomited blood all over her Caribbean hotel room. Staff at the Jade Mountain resort in St. Lucia were horrified when they were sent to Winehouse's suite to clean up the mess. "There was blood and vomit all over the bathroom, it was just terrible," said one worker, according to Brit tabloid The Mirror. Hotel management allegedly offered to send out for a doctor, but Winehouse said no, no, no. Amy and hubby Blake Fielder-Civil have been at the $1,400-a-night Caribbean hideaway since last weekend. This past week, the parents of both Winehouse and Fielder-Civil called for fans to boycott Amy's album in an effort to urge the pair to get help for their alleged drug addictions. Vomiting blood is a sign of stomach damage due to alcoholism. It doesn't look good for her. It's a pity, as I think she's a talented singer and songwriter.
thinking about honeymooning in st. lucia!? My fiance and I have really fallen in love with Jade Mountain in St. Lucia! We would love to go there for our honeymoon. Have any of you ever been there? Any recommendations? Was it extremely expensive? If you haven't been there, but have heard of it, do you have any other suggestions for somewhere romantic and is tropical for a honeymoon? thanks so much!

Where should/can I take an all inclusive vacation for under $10,000? (vacation for 2) I'd like it to be 8 days? My husband and I are looking to take a late honeymoon (6 years late) out of the country. We aren't really beach people but I'd love to go somewhere tropical. We don't mind the beach, we'd just rather there be more to do than just spend time on or near the water. Something near a rain forest would be neat. somewhere warm but not unbearable. We are looking to vacation in April or May 2010. We were thinking St. Lucia at Jade Mountain but after going over our budget we just can't fit in the $19,000 it would cost for a room with infinity pool and such... Maybe there are other places just as nice, with the same sort of view and amenities for a little cheaper? - I like exploring but my capabilities are limited with a bad leg. If I've got to walk over a mile I tend to suffer a good bit. So that sort of limits us too... Any ideas? P.S. We do NOT want to go on a cruise. The beach is not mandatory. We'd actually rather go somewhere that is not on the beach but we don't want to exclude beautiful places that are near the beach. Sorry if my details were confusing. BTW, I'd love to find a resort that has rooms with plunge or infinity pools in or attached to them (the pools MUST be private).
Anybody been to St. Lucia? I just read about the Jade Mountain Resort in St. Lucia, and I plan to talk about my boyfriend about going there for our honeymoon (not that he has proposed YET). It is VERY expensive, but we will be able to afford the $1,500 a night after he becomes a Journeyman electrician (he's almost there). My question is this: What is the best time of year to travel to St. Lucia? What month or whatever? Also, what else is there to do that I would need money for? Just trying to figure out how much we'll need. I know air plane tickets and all that, but there must be some kind of activities there.
Borra Borra or the Caribbean? I have decided to elope either to Hawaii and off to the Polynesian Islands for a Honeymoon or fly to the Caribbean to elope and stay around there for honeymoon. I need help on which is best for privacy, private plunge pools, white beaches and tons of palm trees? Prices are not an issue. I've heard about Jade Mountain in St Lucia, but it seems a little inconvenient...Any suggestions? Thanks!!:) PS I am not worried about Hawaii because I've stayed at at private resort there and lived there for a while. Our main concern would be the Honeymoon...
I wrote this poem and I need YOUR input? Underneath this cold earth lays a mountain laden with truth It breaks away piece by piece into the worldly craters abyss It spreads near and far away with shattered remnants of earth and clay twisted souls climb its side trying to find out when they died and as we watch from the land above mourning for forgotten love we notice that we are not alone but standing surrounded and by friends and by home and as that mountain punches through twisting and tumbling towards me and you a glimpse of light, dappled and faded warms our two hearts that are weary and jaded and together we run as far and as fast as anyone would to be free at last by the way it is protected by copyright.
Hahaha so what do you think of this song's lyrics "Mountains Of The Moon"? Cold mountain water, the jade merchant's daughter, Mountains of the moon, electra bow and bend to me. Hi ho the carrion crow fol de rol de riddle Hi ho the carrion crow bow and bend to me. Hey, Tom Banjo hey a laurel, more than laurel you may sow. More than laurel you may sow. Hey, the laurel, hey the city in the rain, Hey, hey, hey the wild wheat waving in the wind. Twenty degrees of solitude, twenty degrees in all, All the dancing kings and wives assembled in the hall. Lost is the long and loneliest town fairy sybil flying. All along the, all along the mountains of the moon. Hey, Tom Banjo it's time to matter, The earth will see you on through this time, The earth will see you on through this time. Down by the water, the Marsh King's daughter, did you know? Clothed in tatters always will be. Tom, where did you go? Mountains of the moon, Electra, mountains of the moon, All along the, all along the mountains of the moon. Hi ho the carrion crow fol de rol de riddle Hi ho the carrion crow bow and bend to me. Bend to me. Na da da da da da da da da da da da.
Has anyone ever noticed how appropriate the word "holy" is? For how much religious people deny the mountain of contradictions and non-sequetars within religion, those of the Abrahamic cults (Christianity, Islam, Judaism) have come up with a very appropriate world to describe their cults - "holy." Do you think some jaded priest was just having a laugh when they came up with that? Yes, I know that Duke Paul. I can spell. But I still find it amusing. Morganie - I've read the Bible. Trust me, I know all about it. Apparently "genesis" happened twice, and a baby isn't a human until it's a month old despite the fundie movement to ban abortion. But a fellow YA'er described it best: "Christianity is the belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master. He will then remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree. What a bizarre, yet pervasive, mind control cult."
Here is one of my poems..... any comments, critique? This is one of my longer poems spawned in a peculiar state of mind..... Usually I do not follow strict rules when it comes to poetry. When the mood changes - so does the meter and the rhythm within a poem. I am not a friend of much rigidity, adherance to established rules. The same goes for punctuation. THE SPELL The winter storm With eerie sounds - Though raging fierce outside Can't touch my cozy room In darkness I sat ....Was trying to catch The rays of the full moon. It was her time I felt her pull I longed to see Those shafts of lights.... Hidden all by racing clouds Those beams of light Cold - yellow - white. Relaxed I thought...... My eyes closed shut.... Absorbing the music Those warbled tones So soothing the howling.... The long drawn hollow tune Which penetrates my very soul Obliviates my very room. There are new currents, subtle, probing Old images are fast eroding The ways, the ordinary, so blindly trodden Are moments suspended on an incline - Like pearls strung up on an imaginary line. I am the mummy with inlaid eyes I penetrate that web of lies - My bandages, the seals of time Glued by my sins, the tears of mine My eyes of polished, cloudy jade Reflected not what they have forced to fade But saw the closest that procession Where mortal ones have no impression. Faint outlines form, condense unaided Released from far, some misty shore The world around just faded Was not the one I knew before. I felt a drowsiness descending There was no aspect worth defending.... Infinite, so clear and vast A clear black void - what blissful peace Engulfed my mind at last. Serene the silence Drifting thoughts...... Suspended like the globes in space All at their own allotted pace In silence through this vast ....... The images came drifting past. Slowly floating they do come A huge pulsating golden sun Of brilliant blue its diamond core And emanating from this source A radiance not felt before..... An all pervading, subtle force.... The color of a peculiar sound Throughout that universe abound. And more I saw, still to be due.... To pass before my window's view In this divine, eternal store Where all - it seems - was there before. One form approached, just down below Moved up, then faded - left a glow Then changed its course against the flow. A hideous mask - what metamorphoses With a demonic smile approaches Freezes, piercing cold its cutting stare - Besides some others glowing fair.... In scenes of blissful pleasure - Some beyond all worldly measure - Their trace I tried to fix - in vain I saw them receding, causing pain. I looked at old, forgotten graves - Remembered golden islands far ...... Now long sunk beneath the waves And travels to some unknown star. Again I sailed the deep blue sees Traversed steaming jungles The wide fertile plains And powerful kingdoms I knew - Forgotten .....their names. I saw the vast deserts, bleak and forbidden, High mountain places where treasures are hidden And once so great cities - now buried ruins All muted remnants - of future - past, it seems The places of worship, holy of old - Desecrated structures of marble and gold I have had an inkling of thing unexplained Of powerful secrets misused and profaned - Well hidden, somewhere concealed To be at one time again revealed.. I learned of scenes and places Alive in time and space In which my soul is cast - To which my self is bound...... The nature of the things that hound And of the things that are..... Of future, present, past. What it all meant, I recognized Throughout its endless journey My soul, immortal, memorized The changes in time and space, The nature of the things as such..... The things that come and go The images that leave no trace. It is a hard, enormous task Of an afflicted soul to ask... to heed that omnipresent warning From the beginnings early morning - Whatever the places, scenes and faces Not attracted - they leave no traces..... To NOT repeat that basic error Which fills my soul with sadness, terror That rules of this eternal game - Through eons they have been the same - Can not be bent, self-servingly restricted If done, inviting suff'ring - self-inflicted. Witness the work of His hands. Thoughts? [Title] Creation Woven clouds unveil the sun Appearing on the emerald hillside Unfurling the unknown to these captivated eyes Stolen light reveals the dun The gravel shores of Ireland wide Out of the stone and dust, my bones were drawn Hands that carved me bore their bloody scars Western winds confess the Atlantic's desire To cradle her dear child in the arms of a sea Vast azure expanse, crimson bowls pouring fire Unleash the black of night, the flame of majesty Out o'er star spangled heavens, my mind is blown away Enchanted, I lay down in amazement of His glory Gloria Cliffs of jade stand guard around here The mountain peak may dawn its sword Mighty hurricane won't sponge the eagles crest Beast of land that trods the valley Deep within Atlantic seas The albatross will glide on the westerly wind Isles of foggy morns embrace fear This land I've long adored Compose these gentle hymns of love's lasting rest None could fathom beauty's humble grace Quest to find a place I could tarry through time To witness the design of our Maker unwind Lest we all forsake the eternal sublime Blind not ourselves from God's work, divine Creation must be showing the face of God above Awe stricken, I observe the wonder of His glory Gloria Test the realms of faith and discover a sign A miracle performed in the sight of mankind An emptiness became the cosmos, a stone became the Earth The mud and soot of violent wild fires became a human heart Displaying holy passion, the work of Christ the Lord Out o'er azure and daylight, through darkness of the night Forever, I will gaze in awe of heaven's glory Gloria in excelsis Deo

One of my parakeets has a little bald patch on her head? I have four parakeets - Sodi (so-dee), Eskimo, Aoife (ee-fah), and Jade. We know Sodi and Eskimo are boys, Aoife is believed to be a girl, and Jade is still too young to tell, I've only had her a month or so, and she's too young to tell (I hope Jade is a girl anyway, so I'll call her a she). Anyway, Aoife has a little bald spot on her head. What could this be from? Could Sodi or Eskimo be picking on her? Jade always follows Aoife around, could Jade have attatchment issues or something if Aoife hangs out around Eskimo or Sodi? Jade is younger than Aoife... Is this a big deal, or am I making a mountain out of a molehill? Thanks, ten points best answer! :)
Moonlight Bells--the Short Story version--do you like it? The Story of Moonlight Bells, Can Man Fool Nature? A Short Story By Warren Domke With Cultural Assistance from Yang Fan, Shenyang, China Long ago, under a dynasty few remember, and which history barely records, there was a village in a valley surrounded by mountains. On a hillside overlooking the village there was a temple, whose priests greeted each evening with the saying of prayers and the ringing of temple bells. On another hillside nearer the town stood a small house, whose windows opened to the heavens. This was the home of the village’s astrologer and seer. He dwelt alone in the house, his gaze and attention directed to the heavens. Nobody knew exactly when Xian Zhi acquired his ability to read the stars and foretell the future, but it must have been many years before he came to the village in the valley to become its Seer and fortuneteller. He lived in a house on a hill overlooking the community of several thousand souls, and he lived alone—for it was his lot to live only in the company of the stars and sky. His house was filled with charts and tables to help him track the movement of the constellations and other heavenly bodies. While still a boy he learned of his gift and was apprenticed to an old seer who taught him to trace the paths the stars and planets took through the heavens and to learn how the interaction of these bodies affected the lives of mortals. He learned quickly and soon became wise and all-seeing. The people of the village learned to come to him for advice and to help them name their babies. He chose names that help assure good fortune in their lives ahead—it is even today the tradition of these valley people. Many evenings he would climb the neighboring hills and mountains, to better observe the heavenly bodies whose movements predicted future and fortunes. Xian Zhi knew his trade well, and the village prospered as a result of his skills. But sometimes he wished he knew the company and love of a woman. On a still night he could hear the temple bells in the distance, and he could see the activities of the men, women and children of the village. It was this way for many years, and Xian Zhi was much beloved of the people of the valley town. Each year the rice harvest was plentiful, and the townspeople traded for meats and poultry and the other items they wished to have—cloth, tools and the many things the village needed. She was born in the spring, a fortunate baby. Her father was a seller of jade and other precious items, whose business prospered as the village enjoyed the bounty of its crops. She was a lovely baby, delicately formed and alert. The girl was born in the Year of the Serpent under a near full moon. A beautiful infant, but her parents frowned at her gender and beauty; for her father had wanted a boy, and her mother was equally disappointed at her failure to produce a son for her husband. But still the mother and father carried the newborn child to the home of the Seer so that she might be properly named. It was early evening and the temple bells sang their distant song. The mother and father entered his home and presented the baby to him. “Who is this?” he whispered at her tiny face. “That is for you to tell us,” said the mother. “Choose a name that will bring her and us good fortune, and you will be amply rewarded.” Xian Zhi gazed upon the baby girl and consulted his charts and tables before choosing as her name “Yue Ling,” which means “Moonlight Bells.” Wistfully he gazed at her. She had captured his heart. But he knew he must keep this love a secret. The parents agreed to the name and paid him in gold. He put the money in a small chest he kept in his room. When the family had gone Xian Zhi sighed heavily. Again he felt the loneliness of his life and the solitude of his existence. That night he walked up the road toward the mountain pass above the valley and took a trail to a nearby mountaintop. He vowed to be true to his heart and true to his calling, and to keep his love a secret. He prayed to the gods for guidance and help, and they seemed to understand. “I ask for the ability to make time stand still for me and to speed it up for her,” he prayed. “I pray for a meeting time and place.” If the gods had an answer for him they did not share it. Time passed slowly, and yet in some ways quickly, for such is the way of China, where opposites often travel together. Yin and yang. The gods understood this ancient principle of life. And Xian Zhi was blessed in every way, as was his village. In the years ahead the village prospered with plenty of rice and traded for duck and chicken and other meats. The people were happy. They wore fine clothes and built their fine houses. Sometimes Xian Zhi, the Seer, would walk down the street as people greeted him happily. They clearly appreciated his wisdom and the good fortune he continued to bring the village and its people. For now they Sometimes Xian Zhi, the Seer, would walk down the street as people greeted him happily. They clearly appreciated his wisdom and the good fortune he continued to bring the village and its people. For now they also venerated him for his growing age as well as for his wisdom and the clarity of his visions for the future. Yue Ling grew to girlhood, laughing and playing, now loved by her parents. The old man would see her and smile. She still owned his heart. As a young girl she had long dark hair and deep brown eyes and a quick smile and an easy musical laugh that reminded Xian Zhi of the bells she was named after. Seasons came and left. He aged and so did she. Now a very old man, now still a young woman, and love began to grow between them. She would sometimes visit him at the house on the hill and he would tell her of the stars and planets and the constellations that ruled the heavens and also ruled the fortunes of mortal humans. Seasons came and left. He aged and so did she. Now a very old man, now still a young woman, and love began to grow between them. She would sometimes visit him at the house on the hill and he would tell her of the stars and planets and the constellations that ruled the heavens and also ruled the fortunes of mortal humans. She listened only as one who was fascinated could. And she began to develop her own gifts of prophecy. She also began to love the heart and soul of Xian Zhi. “This is the cruelest of jokes,” she told Xian Zhi. “You are my true love and you are older than my parents. Is there no mercy in the heavens that we cannot find a better way?” He could not but agree. “I trust the gods,” he told her. “They have never betrayed me and I have trusted them all my life. This love could not be if we had no way to continue it.” In her presence he too felt renewed and uplifted. His body became as that of a much younger man, and he grew in his love for her, as she grew in her love for him. It was spring, and many flowers bloomed along the streets and roads of the village in the valley. It is illogical, he reasoned. Yue Ling has many years to live, he only a decade or perhaps two. They could not love each other, because he must leave before their love could be fulfilled. But together they began to devise a plan to be together for a lifetime. If they were to die together they could come back together and their love could grow. They could be babies together, then children, and then young people, and adults, an eventually an aged couple who would grow old together. And they would be together in this life and the next. It seemed the perfect plan. Xian Zhi remembered the mountain pass and a high cliff that plunged to a rocky riverbed below. The pair of them considered their options and their desires. “It is not fair to you,” he argued. “You are hardly more than a child.” “If the gods did not approve,” Yue Ling argued. “Would they reveal such a perfect plan to us?” So one starry moonless night they made their pact. They left the village and walked up the winding road to the mountain pass. They reached the cliff, and kissed for a long time before making the fateful leap—holding hands. “It won’t hurt much and not for long,” he whispered in her beautiful and delicate ear. “I know,” she whispered back before they jumped. And so Xian Zhi, the Seer, and his beloved Moonlight Bells died together and went on to join the gods in heaven. But fate was to prove unkind. Yue Ling was reborn, but it was in a mountain village many days travel from the village in the valley. There were no familiar faces and no Xian Zhi for her to see and love. She wept when she realized this. The Seer, meanwhile, was reborn in the valley—fifty years after the rebirth of his beloved Yue Ling. The village had changed. The people he had known were now gone. Stories of the leap of the lovers were told, but many believed them mere legend. And his Moonlight Bells was nowhere to be found. It was a cruel fate. The Seer was reborn with his gifts of prophecy and his visions of good fortune and the future. It is not difficult for such a man to find a role in a society so dependent on luck and good fortune. He soon completed an apprenticeship and again lived in a home on a hill above a village, and told the fortunes of the people, and was again loved. And again prosperity fell on the people whose lives he guided. But Moonlight Bells was now an old woman. Frail, in the twilight of her years, but the sparkle in her eye remained. Something of the lovely girl he loved refused to fade away, and would not die. Love is powerful. If there is a thread to be found, the lovers will find it. If there is a tiny light in a corner they will see it. Love would not be denied. They will see each other—secretly love each other. The families they knew before are now long gone, replaced by new families. It is a new world. But now their ages are the opposite of what they were: She is old and he is young. A tiny flame remains and flickers and refuses to die. They are no longer Xian Zhi and Yue Ling. But their souls go on through eternity, still the Seer and still Moonlight Bells. He cannot give her up and she refuses to be parted from him. The gods will have their last laugh. They always do. Ernie, this type of story isn't for everyone. It's rather like mythology, and it has a certain audience. Clearly you are not part of that audience. The appeal of this story is the suggeston that live can bridge time and ages. It also suggests that we can be given another chance at life through reincarnation. I don't necessarily believe these things. If you read Shakespeare you may have to assume ghosts are real or that people can predict the future. If you read Homer you may have to accept the notion that multiple gods guide our lives and destinies. This is just for the purpose of getting through the story and understanding what it's about. We never have to accept these premises as guides to our own lives. The Euro-centered concept of time as linear would probably be an obstacle to many readers of a story like "Midnight Bells" which asks us to see time as circular and to accept predestination and reincarnation. Thank you for reading this and for your feedback. Ernie, this type of story isn't for everyone. It's rather like mythology, and it has a certain audience. Clearly you are not part of that audience. Thank you for reading this and for your feedback. For Aspen Dreamer--the double reply to Ernie was due to a typo that I tried to correct and instead got a double entry. This short story is a work in progress. The original was a nice story but too short to do much with. I expanded it and am still looking at wording and details. This could be published, but I realize it will need some fine tuning before that happens. One thing I like about the revised version is that I was able to inject a little more optimism in the ending, while keeping the ironic twist. It isn't finished yet. I am looking for feedback and I do appreciate yours.
What could this dream mean/stand for? So here goes. I'm looking up a mountain. There is an asian store up it. I decide to walk up it. I go in and there are is lot of stuff. Jade figures, buddas, ancient Asian herbs and medicine. Person trys to get me to buy some medicine, I decline and say that I'm just looking. I leave the store and begin to decend the mountain. As I'm walking, I notice it's cloudy/misty/foggy. I notice a large passenger airplane flying high over me, then a second a little lower fly over me. Then I see one break the fog and it's comming straight for me (it will crash). I freeze and think there's nothing I can do. Then the airplane pulls up just n time. I think wow that's lucky, what are the odds of that? Then the plane crashes up the mountain. I wake up then and all I can think of is 747. I come later to know that 747 is the same type of airplanes that I dreampt about. Which is very weird cause I would have never known that! I don't like or watch or read shows or books that deal with military or airplanes. I don't know names to airplanes or anything like that. And I never saw anything that related to the dreamed events that day! Please help me with this dream! Any help is needed! There were three airplanes all the same type. One high, one a little lower than the first, then another that was on a slanted nosedive right at me. They all appeared in that order too. Sorry just wanted to make that clear. Yeah, no offense, but I'm not really into the 9/11 thing. Those shows bore me. I don't watch them or try to research it. Yeah it happened, but I don't care to know all of it's details. So I highly doubt it relates to my dream. Thanks anyways. Oh, I have to fall asleep in total silence. Tv is always off, and no noise.
Someone told me Satan wasn't, and isn't an angel, because angles cant sin? i always thought Satan started out an angel? did God just create an evil spirit? Ezekiel 28:13 In E´den, the garden of God, you proved to be. Every precious stone was your covering, ruby, topaz and jasper; chrys´o·lite, onyx and jade; sapphire, turquoise and emerald; and of gold was the workmanship of your settings and your sockets in you. In the day of your being created they were made ready. 14 You are the anointed cherub that is covering, and I have set you. On the holy mountain of God you proved to be. In the midst of fiery stones you walked about. 15 You were faultless in your ways from the day of your being created until unrighteousness was found in you. 16 “‘“Because of the abundance of your sales goods they filled the midst of you with violence, and you began to sin. And I shall put you as profane out of the mountain of God, and I shall destroy you, O cherub that is covering, from the midst of the fiery stones. 17 “‘“Your heart became haughty because of your beauty. You brought your wisdom to ruin on account of your beaming splendor. Onto the earth I will throw you. Before kings I will set you, [for them] to look upon you. 18 “‘“Owing to the abundance of your errors, because of the injustice of your sales goods, you have profaned your sanctuaries. And I shall bring forth a fire from the midst of you. It is what must devour you. And I shall make you ashes upon the earth before the eyes of all those seeing you. 19 As for all those knowing you among the peoples, they will certainly stare in amazement at you. Sudden terrors are what you must become, and you will be no more to time indefinite. -explain that scripture
What do you think this poem means? this poem is something i quickly made. i don't care what you say about it, i just want to see if anyone could sum it down to something more simple or could even give me a meaning for it (o and i didn't really proofread it so some sentences might be placed incorrectly): Gone be tell on well known beings. Quills on a mountain hush as downward eagles spot a king in fools’ clothes. Dawn on lust for just now poor we all want is not to be first. Be free cone bill on forgotten thorns with string bone and husk shell. Onward come we love let latch on moon’s door jump on faith catching sparks from names of men's mistakes. Quiet are truths not talked to the dry bone of their soul. Lonely you are when it rains sweet ashes of gold dust and fallen jewels. Treasures in the onward rampage of mad witnesses behold death and birth of the royal. Money makes more ghosts out of full well persons empty eyes. Sad lays worthless Jones as widows fall off the washed gore of the minx. Your grasshopper soul lies on gulls calling for mercy passing to the other side of the mace. The jade soul said coming to make a fool of Jones and what he makes. We not want more than he does in times of mourning patches of demons calls in masks. Be it for them as they haul the fake and lying to me as I slash their throats and lungs open. Shrivel and plead to my mourning sun soul for it hates as you so do. Wings make fools of the mighty and powerful; let them know the weak may have the queen’s heart. Let them wait till the good warnings come in dull moonshine We wait patiently as cracked glass cuts our feet in wrenching pain we do scream and cry tears of insanity. Quantity on what we let die makes open doors shut up on yelping snakes as one man makes non believers stab upon the one day known angels. Fools to they be forgotten like dolls heavily deed meek steel cages of society demons in black and blue feathers. As death gives a kiss of razor lips no more will moan at the voice of the vagrant flesh. So take me now in times of despair for on the line I lay waiting for a new moon and sun to give me life and breath once more.
R indian hypocrites? Regarding racism in the reality tv show "BIG BROTHER" ? I think the media and some people are making a mountain out of an ant hill regarding this issue. I am from the north-eastern part of india, having mogoloid feature.I have faced racist remarks all the time in every metropolitan cities of india. Even though,we the north-easterner are Indian as any indian can be but because of our mogoliod features my fellow countrymen from outside ne states think otherwise. Most of the people i met in delhi think i am from nepal to add to insult, most of them doesn't even know where my state is .Shouldn't the govt do something about the ne people of india, like teaching the mailand indian about the ne states of india instead of just helping out one shilpa shetty. what an irony? I mean being an indian and not being recognised as one. I think we (Indian) should clean our backyard before pointing finger to Jade goody or the Britishers. Naish M , What makes a person a total indian? Is it the colour of the skin ,is it the religion or is it something else? What makes you more Indian than me? Change the way you think 'Naish' for the betterment of the whole country. And learn about the north-east and the southern states of India. I bet you are very weak in geography that's why you are saying like that.God bless you...

Teenage BB Watchers: Question about 2006 CBB? When we were young. S Club 7 were a very popular band. I loved their songs, and even now, I love listening to them and think about my childhood. (8) Reach, for the stars, climb every mountain high..(8) (8)You're my number one, i'd do anything for you (8) (8)I never had a dream come true, till the day that I found you..(8) And many many more brilliant songs =D When Jo entered the BB house. She, Danielle and Jade formed some sort of hate against Shilpa. Being Indian, I was slightly offended by her behaviour. My question is, what was your impression of Jo in S Club 7, and in the house?

The Olympic Mountains in Washington State, have escaped classification? With all the reading and shows about how the Earth was made. I haven't been able to find out why the Olympic Peninsula is not considered a Volcano? I understand we were iced-over on several occasions, leading to piles of glacier till. As a resident rock-hound, I have found huge amounts of Volcanic activity. To include basalt, peridot, jade, chert, jasper, and what was once liquid green-blue lava. The biggest tell-tell is Fire Stone. I don't believe the sparse information available, one of these mountains in this range had to have been active. My yard is full of something other than what could have been brought in by glaciers. Unless Mount Baker blew it over here. Cause I don't think it would have come from the south. Does anyone out there know which of these Olympic Mountains could have leaked this material out?
What's the relevance of marriage? Marriage vows today are like sinking sand. People say, "I do" and in a blink of an eye, they're filing for divorce. I might sound jaded but marriage is no longer sacred. Now, there's same sex marriage. I'm straight up orthox on this issue. No broke back mountain here. Men and women constitute a marriage. Not men on men or women on women. If you're gay please don't take offense to what I'm saying. I'm not a homo-phob. I'm just expressing an opinion. Thanks. Comments? ( I can see this coming.)
why do some white people act like idiots when it comes to saying ethnic names? i saw a clip of jades mum on big brother and she was making a big deal out of the asian womans name, this is not the first time i have come across a white person acting like they are trying to climb a friggin mountain, when they come across a new name, and the whites have admitted this to be true - i seen it on little britian
One, not acrostic. Will you take a look? DOWN FROM THE MOUNTAIN When will you return from the world. Are your eyes too jaded to see the beauty that encompasses the night and daytime within me? Are your eyes too jaded to see the heart sworn to be yours alone? For your return from the mountain I waited and longed without sleep. The beauty that encompasses will not be found on great heights. The sorrow of the valley will will surely fade in love's true light. The night and daytime within me will be all to suffice your needs. When you return from your journey You'll find what you had never lost.
can someone please help me with my silk road essay? heres what i have so far The Silk Road With silk, jade, furs and many other items being carried by merchants of many countries on the Silk Road from present day China to present day Turkey, the interaction of these different cultures created a cultural diffusion that can be seen in the resulting names, tools, jewelry, luxuries and house wares that these different societies adopted. The Silk Road came into existence at around 300 B.C. This “road” consisted of vast and numerous trade routes that went from between modern day China and modern day Europe, on the way passing through such countries as India, Afghanistan, and Kazakhstan. The road also went through desert oasis’s surrounded by large mountains. On this immense trade route there were many different kinds of trade routes, such as silk routes, spice routes, and Eurasian step routes. Silk was one of the most important items traded along the Silk Road. This expensive item is made from the silkworm when it spins a cocoon. The Chinese discovered this at around 2600 B.C.E. and kept this secret of producing silk a very well kept one. Once the Silk Road was open techniques of weaving the silken thread did not begin to spread because this material was similar to that used by cloth weavers. But by 300 A.D. silk cloth was being woven in central and western Asia using Chinese thread. The well kept Chinese secret was not kept for long because at the start of the fifth century people in the Khotan (an oasis) on the southern path of the silk rode around the Takla Makan Desert learned the secret of the production and making of silk itself. The story of how this happens goes like this. One of the Khotan kings married a Chinese princess who smuggled out silk worms and mulberry seeds (the silk worm only eats from mulberry trees) out of china in her headdress. (The silk route and spices, Reid, 32-33) One of the earliest materials to be transported from the Khotan area located on the southern Silk Road was jade. Jade was valuable at the time and was crafted into many things such as ring shaped pendants, and coiled yellow jade dragons placed in graves. Since jade is still transported by road from Khotan to China one might not call this road the Silk Road but rather the Jade Road, if it wasn’t for the fact that silk was traded over a greater distance. The Chinese and Sogdians were both very active traders on the silk road, trading many things between each other and other civilization. Some of the things the Chinese traded were silk, jade, furs, porcelain and other ceramics, Lauer, and iron. From a Sogdian letter we learn that the Sogdian merchants traded gold, musk, pepper, camphor, flasks, cloth and wheat. Items weren’t the only things traded on the Silk Road. Knowledge, science, art, technology, language, and religion were traded amongst the people on the Silk Road. Technology played a very important role in the thriving of the Silk Road. Iron smelting is one example With all the trading going on, on the Silk Road there was also the mixing of different cultures. Europeans learned to make paper from the Sogdians. Chinese art (especially wall paintings) had a strong effect on Sogdian art. Sogdian sources say that during the fourth century A.D. indicate that there was a triangular trade pattern between India, Sogdiana, and China. By the seventh century many Sogdian merchants had settled in China and took on Chinese names. These merchants became respected members of Chinese society. Sogdians bought silk from the Chinese, as well as copied their copper coins. Besides cultural diffusion there was also religious diffusion. There is evidence of Zoroastrian (a Sogdian religion) temples in Lanzhog China. Another major religion transmitted across the Silk Road by Sogdians is Malchelism. This is proved by Sogdian letters. The Buddhist religion came to China using the Silk Road at around 100 A.D. The Menikin religion was adopted by the Vighurs for hundreds of years. it has to be 6 pages and right now its 3 :( any ideas on how to make it longer or how to make it look longer will be greatly apreciated Thank you
Can someone pleaseee help me analyze this poem? I'm really desperate right now? Ok so the poem is Spaces We Leave Empty by Cathy Song and its posted below. The jade slipped from my wrist with the smoothness of water leaving the mountains, silk falling from a shoulder, melon slices sliding across the tongue, the fish returning. The bracelet worn since my first birthday cracked into thousand-year-old eggshells. The sound could be heard ringing across the water where my mother woke in her sleep crying thief. Her nightgown slapped in the wind as he howled clutching his hoard. The cultured pearls. The bone flutes. The peppermint disks of jade. The clean hole in the center, Heaven: the spaces we left empty Now, what I need to know is what does the bracelet symbolize in this poem? And also can someone explain the meaning of the title? Or at least make something up from their own head that could explain the title? I'll be super super grateful for anything anyone can explain to me. Thank youu!

"A Masterpiece - By Liam Smith" - Which version makes for a better read? Version 1. A Masterpiece. The rain-washed heavens formed a perfect canvas, An artist shed his mark across the scene. It hung above a dark and distant mountain, Interspersed with pine tree collages of green. Charcoal clouds moved slowly on their journey, To pave the way for shards of azure blue. Pushing on and inward to the picture, As a hint of gentle sunshine filtered through. Then the mountains came alive in all its glory, Golden ferns shimmered in the light, Gentle sheep meandered, weaving patterns, I marvelled at the splendor in my sight. A teeming waterfall poured crystal water, Into a frothy multi-fingered stream, And as it rushed by moss-ridden ledges, I pinched myself to waken from a dream. But the dream was a reality, Yes, this sight before my eyes, Was painted by no other, Than the master of the skies. By - Liam Smith. © Version 2. A Masterpiece. Rain-washed heavens formed a perfect canvas As if a loving artist laid the scene. Blues hung above the dark and distant mountains, Were wreathing painted pines of verdant green As charcoal clouds crept on their silent trek, Revealing azure shards of peerless blue. My thoughts ran on, dissolving in the tincture, As hints of peaceful sunshine filtered through. The mountains rose, resplendent in their glory, With sun-gilt ferns glimmer in the light, As unsheared sheep meandered, weaving patterns; I marvelled at the splendor in my sight. A teeming waterfall poured crystal water, Into a frothy multi-fingered stream; As it cascaded over moss-lipped ledges, I pinched myself to waken from my dream. But all that canvas painted without flaw, A sweet perfection for my jaded eyes Possessed no frame, but ran to the horizon And far beyond - To the master of the skies. By - Liam Smith. © Thank you in advance for comments - best wishes to all!
Why am I affected w. his new girlfriend when I'm "numb"? I'm a good girl - not easy but easygoing, can get along w. everyone and old fashioned in love. I'm going through this phase where i'm "jaded" right now (went through a situation a few months back; best friend of 5 yrs, led me on for 2 yrs and never bothered to be honest, used me for attention) and am in no mood for guys right now. I'm not biter or a man hater, I've moved on, i'm happy to be single & just want to take time for myself and it'll be awhile 'til i become "close" and care for someone again. No relationships anytime soon. After that situation, I met a guy at the end of last year and the most odd yet perfect time. We were both jaded people from love and were not interested in anything close to a relationship. He surprised me and he was actually someone I could see myself with but regardless, tho he was somewhat special, I was still numb (fr. the previous situation) and we ended up just being "friends". (he was the first decent, good guy I've met). Recently, I've been having WEIRD, random dreams about him. The last one I felt so strong about: we rented a cabin up in the mountain w. a bunch of friends and I had heard he had a new gf. I saw her and she was a skanky girl and SOO NOT HIS TYPE. I woke up feeling very sad. Don't know what it is - I don't have major feelings for the guy yet I see very highly of him. Maybe b/c he was the last "good thing" i've experienced w. guys. WELL, long and behold, I just found out he DOES have a gf and she is not his type (she's a tomboy and he likes girlie girls) yet I have no ill feelings, my heart is not broken, nor do I have that upset feeling in my stomach. It sucks a bit but I'm really happy for them. It's weird though b/c she's not his type; although I do have to say I'm just really glad she's not a skank and she is a tough, tough chick that can handle his BS lol Yet I have no ill feelings, my heart is not broken, nor do I have that upset feeling in my stomach. It sucks a bit but I'm really happy for them. I'm keeping busy, shifting focus but it's like there's his BIG BANNER in my head that says he's taken. WHY? 5 hours ago - 4 days left to answer. Additional Details We didn't even date so I don't even know why it's even gettin me a little. He kinda represented hope that maybe I will find a good, decent guy, faith that maybe it is possible to be w. a dream guy. Now, there's no hope

Spiritual-Purity of Rain-Water? "Sing unto the Lord with thanks-giving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God: Who covereth the heavens with clouds; who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains." Where should/can I take an all inclusive vacation for under $10,000? Any ideas? Oh, I guess I should add that we are adament about not going on a cruise. We definitely want to be on land. lol Thanks for your help!
Who would like to check some of these out? Advertisement 21 candidates for new Wonders of World list 18/11/2006 7:39:00 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Printer-friendly page GENEVA, Switzerland (AP) - Here are descriptions of the 21 candidates in the "New 7 Wonders of the World" competition. The public may vote at www.new7wonders.com. Acropolis, Greece: A million people come here each year to see the marble temples - including the ruins of the columned Parthenon - and statues of Greek gods and goddesses dating from the fifth century BC. Alhambra, Spain: The palace and citadel, perched above Granada, was the residence of the Moorish caliphs who governed southern Spain in splendour until 1492, when the city was conquered by the Christian forces of King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, ending 800 years of Muslim rule. Stunning features include mosaics, arabesques and mocarabe, or honeycomb work. Angkor, Cambodia: The archeological site in Siem Reap was the capital of the Khmer (Cambodian) empire from the ninth to 15th centuries. It served as administrative centre and place of worship for a prosperous kingdom that stretched from Vietnam to China and the Bay of Bengal. The 12th-century ruins include Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. Christ Redeemer Statue, Brazil: The 38-metre statue of Christ the Redeemer with outstretched arms overlooks Rio de Janeiro from atop Mount Corcovado. The statue was built in pieces in France starting in 1926, and shipped to Brazil. A railway carried it up the 714-metre mountain for the 1931 inauguration. Colosseum, Italy: The 50,000-seat amphitheatre in Rome was inaugurated in AD 80. Thousands of gladiators duelled to the death here, and Christians were fed to the lions. The arena has influenced the design of modern stadiums. Easter Island, Chile: Hundreds of massive stone busts, or Moais, are all that remains from the prehistoric Rapanui culture that crafted them between 400 and 1,000 years ago to represent deceased ancestors. Some statues are over 20 metres tall. They gaze out on the south Pacific Ocean more than 1,600 kilometres off the Chilean mainland. Eiffel Tower, France: The 300-metre tower, built in 1889 for the International Exposition, symbolizes Paris. Made almost entirely of open-lattice wrought iron and erected in only two years with a small labour force, the tower - Paris's tallest structure - demonstrated advances in construction techniques, but some initially criticized it as unesthetic. Great Wall of China: The 6,700 kilometre barricade running from east to west is the world's longest manmade structure. The fortification was built to protect various dynasties from invasion by Huns, Mongols, Turks and other nomadic tribes. Construction took place over hundreds of years, beginning in the seventh century BC. Hagia Sophia, Turkey: The soaring cathedral, also called the Church of Holy Wisdom, was built in 537 BC at Constantinople, today's Istanbul. In 1453, when Constantinople fell to the Ottomans, it became a mosque with minarets. When Turkish President Kemal Ataturk turned it into a museum in 1935, Christian mosaics covered up by the Muslims were revealed. Kiyomizu Temple, Japan: Kyoto's Kiyomizu-dera, which means Clear Water Temple, was founded by a Buddhist sect in 798 and rebuilt in 1633 after a fire. Drinking from its three-stream waterfall is believed to confer health, longevity and success. Kremlin and St. Basil's Cathedral, Russia: Onion domes with golden cupolas surrounded by red brick walls are at the heart of Moscow's Kremlin, a medieval fortress converted into the centre of Russian government. The Kremlin once symbolized Soviet communism. The Cathedral of St. Basil the Blessed on adjacent Red Square features nine towers of different colours. It was built by Czar Ivan the Terrible in the mid-16th century. Machu Picchu, Peru: Built by the Incan Empire in the 15th century, Machu Picchu's walls, palaces, temples and dwellings are perched in the clouds at 2,400 metres above sea level in the Andes overlooking a lush valley 500 kilometres from Lima. Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany: The inspiration for the Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland, Neuschwanstein is a creation of "Mad King" Ludwig II of Bavaria, who had it built in the 19th century to indulge his romantic fancies. Perched on a peak in the Bavarian Alps, the grey granite castle rises to towers, turrets and pinnacles and contains many paintings with scenes from Richard Wagner operas admired by Ludwig. Petra, Jordan: This ancient city in southwestern Jordan, built on a terrace around the Wadi Musa or Valley of Moses, was the capital of the Arab kingdom of the Nabateans, a centre of caravan trade, and continued to flourish under Roman rule after the Nabateans' defeat in AD 106. The city is famous for water tunnels and stone structures carved in the rock, including Ad-Dayr, "the Monastery," an uncompleted tomb facade that served as a church during Byzantine times. Pyramid at Chichen Itza, Mexico: This step pyramid surmounted by a temple was part of a sacred site in an important Mayan centre on Mexico's Yucatan peninsula. It is built according to the solar calendar. Shadows at the fall and spring equinoxes are said to look like a snake crawling down the steps, similar to the carved serpent at the top. An older pyramid inside features a jade-studded, red jaguar throne. Pyramids of Giza, Egypt: The only surviving structures of the original seven wonders, the three pyramids were built as tombs for pharaohs 4,500 years ago. Nearby is the Great Sphinx statue, with a man's face and a lion's body. Statue of Liberty, New York: The 93-metre statue in New York Harbor has welcomed immigrants and symbolized freedom since 1886, when it was dedicated as a gift of the French government. Stonehenge, Britain: How and why this circular monument of massive rocks was created between 3,000 and 1,600 BC is unknown, but some experts say the stones were aligned as part of a sun-worshipping culture or astronomical calendar. Today it is a major tourist attraction. Druids and New Age followers gather here every June 21 to celebrate summer solstice. Sydney Opera House, Australia: Situated on Bennelong Point reaching into Sydney's harbour, the opera house was designed by Danish architect Jorn Utzon and opened in 1973 by Queen Elizabeth. Its roof resembles a ship in full sail and is covered by over one million white tiles. The building has 1,000 rooms. Taj Mahal, India: The white marble-domed mausoleum in Agra was built by a 17th-century Mogul emperor for his favourite wife, who died in childbirth. The architecture combines Indian, Persian and Islamic styles. The complex houses the graves of the emperor, his wife, and other royalty. Timbuktu, Mali: Two of West Africa's oldest mosques, the Djingareyber, or Great Mosque, and the Sankore mosque built during the 14th and early 15th centuries, can still be seen here in the northern Sahara Desert. Founded about AD 1,100, Timbuktu was a flourishing caravan centre in the Arabic world and a leading spiritual and intellectual centre in the 15th and 16th centuries, with one of the world's first universities. It is a bit long... My appologies, but there are some interesting sights. P.S. I got the info off MSN.
Trip to China cheated by Ming Ming Travel Service? Trip to China cheated by Ming Ming Travel Service If you are one of the new visitors planning to visit China vacation, you must read this carefully before you get cheated and regretted. On 6th to 13th Feb 2008, 21 of us paid Promises RM3388.00 all in package = Total RM 71,148.00 supposed to be a luxuries tour with classy food to join the tour to Beijing / Chengde through Ming Ming Travel Service Sdn Bhd (Lot 193, Jalan Chan Chin Ann, 93100 Kuching) The brochure promises a 5-stars hotel and ended up to the 2 to 3 stars hotel standard. The 7 days printed itinerary sound great but never brief us the daily itinerary and did not follow the itinerary plans For the last 2 days at our own time in Beijing, then we have to pay for the extra fees to go back to the same Slaughter Tourist Shopping Complex.which we have visited from the 2nd day in Beijing. From our perspective, this was not a holiday, but a very stressful horrible never ever experienced with Ming Ming Travel Service. 1st day in Beijing already spoilt our mood as Beijing is Capital of CHINA Early morning, 22 of us including our group leader have arrived in Beijing Airport and wasted waiting 1 hour for the China tour guide to pick up. Meal – Lunch and Dinner •Lunch arrangement was terrible, 2 tables joined together for 10 person like sitting in hawker centre! Due to no seats arranged for us because the booking was 1.30 pm and we arrived at 11.30 am. Our tour guide shouting and argument between and the Restaurant’s Captain & stuff. Both parties were very unhappy each other. Half an hour has gone we managed to get the joined tables like coffee shop. 15 minutes later the white rice came without foods, Another 15 minutes, and junk foods arrived. Our two tables received the very bad manner service from the fierce waitress, because our tour guide has scolded them. This is the first day of the CNY meals what we have is no luck and all the CNY moods were spoiled. Bad starting, bad ending. •Most of the food served was un-delicious & neat (e.g. soup served – water + salt only + eggs only) •Food served is insufficient for 10pax in a table – no additional food ordered. •Some of the hotel breakfast, drinks like coffee, tea and water are not included. Need to pay at our own costs. •The last day dinner BBQ Stream Boat was very cheap foods. WHITE RICE, TOW HOO, TAN HOON, MIX - VEGETABLES & COOKING OIL. •Early morning 4 am before going to Airport breakfast was packed in the paper box contains 1 pc of hard rock bun, butter & EXPIRED DATE MILK PACKED DRINKS. Accommodation – Hotel in Beijing with 5 Star rating (Hai Ge International Hotel) •Very dirty (carpet & towel) and uncomfortable – first time we stayed in such “5 star” hotel. What kind of rating is that? •Door cannot be locked. •Toilet unclean, floor got curly hair (from human bottom part.) •Chengde Hotel shower and water tap were very very brownish rusty and not safe to drink. •Toilet door got very big hole and cannot locked. •One of our group visitor said the toilet wall almost collapse. •Hotel carpet with smoking ashes and cigarette’s filter never sweep off. •Room contain of heavy smoked-cigarette smell. Happy Valley Theme Park - 12 Feb 2008 •Morning call (6.30am) everybody woke up so early – after breakfast, reached Theme Park at 8.30am, waited until 9.30am (business hour opens during holidays) The winter was below ( - 8 Degree C) we were all standing for 1 hour suffering cold wind outside the gate for nothing. After we went in - all the amusement games or show actually started from 10am, 10.30am, 11am, 12pm, etc…. the best show is at evening & night time. Tour guide only given us time frame till 12pm noon only. We missed all the carnival shows & other games as time given is so limited! Shopping in China •After lunch, we were asked to go their special arrangement for tourists’ price Slaughter Shopping Complex. Price ranging from RMB 5,000.00 down to RMB 200.00. Feel pity for the new customers who don’t know how to ask for the big discount. •Fake Rolex watch after discount is RMB 10.00 + only. •Mostly electronic items are very cheap but cannot last a week. •8 GB Kingston Pan Drive and 32 & 400 GB Sony Pan Drive at RM100.00 each when turn on it cannot be use. Cheater China man. •Never ever buy the ready packed Beijing Duck, it taste like newspaper. Do you want to eat newspaper? •Beijing have 1,600 million population and Kuching have ½ million population. We have pay extra of RMB 60 each person the tour guide brought us the same Slaughter Tourist Shopping Complex. Ask why we came to the same Shopping Complex and she replied there are no more other shopping Complex in Beijing. Do you believe? Hot Spring 九华山庄温泉度假村 •In Kuching Ming Ming Travel never advice us to bring along swimming suit for hot spring. •Actually Hot Spring resorts have lot things to discover but we reached the resort at 8.30pm, at this time not much thing we can do since all of them are closing. •Should given us 1 full day instead of bring us to Slaughter Tourist Shopping Complex. Ski - 11 Feb 2008 •Ski Rate – Max rate (in CNY) is RMB160 for 2 hours / pax, but tour guide collects RMB200 for 2 hours / pax from us. (As shown in their booklet at the end of tour) Some of the games are free of charged but the tour guide never wants to tell us. •Ski resort not only just for skiing, we discovered from the booklet there is still lots of activities that is suitable for everyone free of charged. But tour guide just replied “ I dun even know about that” •By right should give us 6 hours enjoying skiing instead of 2 hours. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Money Minded $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ •Upon arriving in China just entering the bus about 10 minutes, the first itineraries haven’t started yet. We were all shocked. She asked us to pay extra RMP250.00 / pax x 20 pax = RMP 5,000.00 for the kung fu show. There were only 4 persons agreed to go and her face turned angry and compliant to our Kuching guide that she never bring this type of lousy group before. •On 10 Feb 2008 we went to Cheng De from Beijing, distance about 180km one way, and Driver fuels the gas tank at RMB600 only. I THINK YOU know how to CACULATE the fuel usage right!!! •Tour guide told us earlier that we will reach at Beijing after 3pm on 11 Feb 2008, but on that day we reached Beijing only about 1.30 pm, telling us no place to visit anymore since we have visited all the location as per itinerary!! She requested us to pay additional RMB60/pax so total RMB1260 for Transport & Parking fee(Tour Bus) to go 3 Tourist Shopping Center (i.e Yue Shui, Xiu Shui, Ya Xiu) [we had no choice but to pay, if not we will only be staying at hotel. •The China Tour guide make money on both sides. After received RMB1,260 from us in her pocket then she went to Slaughter Tourist Shopping Complex counter to claim that she brings in 21 visitors believed RMB 20.00 = extra income of RMB 420.00 + RM 1260 Total RMB 1680.00 •The take over job at Chengde lady tour guide was worse still. She brought us in a Temple and told us to put our hand together and follow their Chinese speaking prayer in-front of their TA LA MA LA (A kind of Buddhist God) then donate RHB 300.00 to the Temple. At that moment, a few of us were Christian. So we walked out the Temple, then tour guide looked at us very fierce and treated us as her enemy. •The next visit is The Imperial Mountain Resort Chengde she introduced the Anti-ants product at RMB 50 / packet, all of us bought it, some even bought more packets and came back the product not working. CHEATED •At 4 pm, she planned late time to send us to Mountain Resort and pointed out at least 30 interested areas to visit. She told if we walk on foot it might took whole day and time was short, coming dark evening and very cold (-18). She forced us to use a mini truck costs us RMB 50 x 21 pax = RMB1,050. The distance took less than 15 minutes to complete 2 interesting areas only and forget the 28 interested areas. China Public toilets •Most of the out door tourist public toilets were very very damn dirty. Some lady toilets don’t even have a door. It only covers by 2 feet height cloth. Your friends, relatives and others pass-by can see you pissing, so embarrass. The pissing area was only 6” height small long joint drain like our outdoor house drain. It contains many days shit & urine without water flushing away. Heavy smelly pissing & shit can make you vomit immediately. For sure I cannot finish eating KFC when I think about it. China our Guide – •Should intro the special dish arranged to us as stated in the itinerary list. •Is not professional enough to intro other activities when we arrived destination – Nan Shan Ski Mountain and etc. •Sounds impatient • We did complaint to both party but no use, turn back scolded by group leader. •More than 10 of us in our group have been to Beijing experience, some even went 4 times. To be frank, we have joined so many tours but never experienced such a lousy trip by Ming Ming Travel. •We don’t mind to pay additional fares but we should be treated with good services. It seems like not worth to pay for what we entitled. group leader •China tour guide seldom hold tour flat and lead in front walking very fast and seldom look back. One of our groups disappears for almost 2 hours missing without hand phone contact. Al last, she was frighten found. •When in China, our Kuching group leader turned to mute. Never lead and asking for our interest. This was our worse trip we ever have. We have made the compliant to Ming Ming Travel at the end, they just ignore it. We are making the details of this case know to Travel watchdog who have expressed a willingness publish the details in the hope that it will warn other travelers of your absolute lack of respect for your customers. Plan for China vacation? No way, My strong command is, try to travel other country but definitely not China, or else, you will get cheated by the China tourist guide to send you to buy expensive items like Chinese Medicines, Silk, Pearls, Jewelleries, Gold, Jade, expensive Tea and other hidden etc………Tours fare is cheap RM 2 to 3 thousand depend on the peak time. Would you like to say 'goodbye for now'? EP says don't 'just' leave. Let us know when you're going away. So - this little ditty is written to say 'goodbye' I'm feeling tired and jaded With no poetry in my mind I think my muse has left me No inspiration can I find. I've flesh-and-blood friends, neglected Who think that I have died A mountain of washing and ironing And dusting and hoovering beside. I spend all my free time reading The verses of my virtual friends. Isn't that great? Well it has drawbacks Because, it all depends. I never seem to get the time To sit and write my own I'm going away for a little while To find time to be alone. I want to create a poem Granny Jill's Greatest Opus Which will astound All around (though I suspect it will be hopeless!) So, like a sulky hermit crab Hiding upon the sea bed I won't return until I have a poem Worthy of being read. Bye. A Troll's been here What's a Troll? Some one whose potty-training was too severe Now he's a warped and twisted soul. There's no hope for him, I fear.
what comes to mind when you read this? Hard is the Journey by Li Po Gold vessels of fine wines, thousands a gallon, Jade dishes of rare meats, costing more thousands, I lay my chopsticks down, no more can banquet, I draw my sword and stare wildly about me: Ice bars my way to cross the Yellow River, Snows from dark skies to climb the T'ai-hang mountains! At peace I drop a hook into a brooklet, At once I'm in a boat but sailing sunward... (Hard is the journey, Hard is the journey, So many turnings, And now where am I?) So when a breeze breaks waves, bringing fair weather, I set a cloud for sails, cross the blue oceans!

Do Libras settle or are they picky in love? I met a guy (libra) at the end of last year and the most odd yet perfect time. We were both jaded people from love and were not interested in anything close to a relationship. He surprised me and he was actually someone I could see myself with but regardless, tho he was somewhat special. I liked his old fashioned approach and his honesty and he appreciated my simple and very feminine style, w. strong values and ambitious. We were still numb (fr. the previous situation) and we ended up just being "friends". It's weird though b/c she's not his type; although I do have to say I'm just really glad she's not a skank and she is a tough, tough chick that can handle his BS lol it's weird: maybe we switched spots? haha In the pat few months, I've discovered that I acted out on my picky-ness and became judgemental w. guys and everything is "no no no, not good enough" and he (i guess) learned how to settle (my old mistake) and he settled for a friend (which is what I normally do). I'm am sincerely happy for them but does anybody else find this weird? They were all friends and when I met him, he expressed no interest in her and said she was too much of a "boy" lol (we talked about who we thought were attractive to us; yes we were that honest). Back then i knew he was very hurt b/c he was in a serious thing for 6 yrs and he got dumped. I guess those things happen though; when you hang out w. friends all the time, you're bound to just fall :) It's like in "saved by the bell". Zack's type of girl was Kelly: cute, pretty yet has values. But then he went for Tori: the tough chick w. the motorcycle jacket and was unapologetic...

Yes, i'm 22 and still very young and I am cherishing my single life. I still have yet to get into my major and start w. my career so there wouldn't be any time at all for a relationship...it's so logical but i can't help but feel a little sad about this
Poem about Escalante Park what do you think? So I wrote this last yr. for English what do you think? It isn't suppose to rhyme, it's declarative... Escalante Park Behind these MAGNIFICANT mountains, I find this bejeweled park. A kaleidoscopic array of colors bounce off the gemmed petrified trees, burgundy jasper violet amethyst, and other marvelous quartz treasures, *sparkle* brilliantly Off these huge wonders. Examining this breath-taking picture I sit D O W N on the dew- sprinkled jade grass, VIBRANT colored wildflowers dance, as they surround, me, in this paradise. Taking my journey further, I, end up in the inviting waters of THE Wide Hollow Reservoir, the tide sings, a lullaby, Of my day’s adventure.
I really need to lose weight. Listen to my story and give me some opinions or advice? When I was younger, I was always chubby. Because of neglect from my mom, I lived with my grandparents who fed me McDonalds and fast food for a good portion of my childhood. My grandparents got evicted from their house when I was 12, and I weighed about 165 pounds. So at that point, I lived with my mom again because my grandparents moved many many miles away from my school. She did not feed me very well, and so I had thinned out quite a bit. I had reached 135 pounds at 5'4 and at the age of 16, and was so close to my ideal weight. I was so excited for this summer because I knew I was going to be able to sport my beach body because I would only need to lose about 8 more pounds to be comfortable with where I was weight wise.. I can only assume the reason why I lost so much weight was from hardly eating. However, I moved in with my grandparents' this past December I am now 17. All the meals they have provided have primarily been fast food. Since December, only 3 and a half months ago, I have gained about 50 pounds. Oh my god, I almost weigh 190 pounds now, just within a 3-4 month period. I believe I gained weight so quickly because I had only lost the weight due to malnutrition and undereating on my moms part.. I gained this weight SO quickly that I hardly had any time to notice my weight gain and turn the habits around... For the past two weeks I have been cutting nearly all fats, but have been eating things like spaghetti, and drinking brisk tea and a mountain dew here and there, so my carb intake is still slightly high... I decided I was just going to eat healthy and exercise here and there to lose the weight. However, it is only tonight that I have found out I weigh 190 pounds because I was too scared to face the scale.. And I am now noticing faint red stretch marks around my navel, which is totally awful to me. I always have had streth marks on my sides, but have always feared getting them on the front of my belly... They are hardly there, so I'm praying with my diet turn around and a lot of cocoa butter, they will not be noticable soon.. So now I am at a point where I am totally disgusted with myself.. I cannot believe how I gained this weight. I just feel totally jaded with the food my grandparents provided for me, and the fact that I was not able to eat healthy while with my mother... Anyways, thanks for reading my story. Now here are my questions. Since I gained the weight so quickly, will I be able to shed the pounds easier than weight aquired over a long period of time? How long will it take me to lose about 65 pounds and be healthy? What kind of a workout/diet do I need to follow to lose this amount of weight before the summer? I am totally desperate and will do everything it takes to lose this weight. Since these stretch marks on my navel are very new, and very faint and tiny, and I am using cocoa butter on them every day, what kind of affect will they have on my body? Also, please keep in mind with diet suggestions that I am only seventeen. I do not always have resources to something very healthy, nor will I always be able to eat something healthy 5 times a day. What are some good things I can supplement for meals that are low at cost and convenient to eat? Thank you in advance..
What do You feel When You Read This Poem? I climb a mountain to seek the true meaning of my hearts hunger, only grueling challenges lurk on the way to the top, for the peak promises certainty. Body, mind, and soul, jaded from dire struggle only but to chance the unseen My sole motivation, strictly pure hope of discovering her undeniable empathy. Almost to the top, my blurry vision filtered through sweat and tears only more rock in vague sight. With each climbing stride my heart spills what little is remaining of its dedication. The wind whispers despair with each attempt to propel and seize an edging boulder. Life thinning with every scaling crawl my heart drained, breath exhausted, body and mind weary….and yet still more stone to be grasped beneath my blistering palms before reaching peak. As the top nears, no sign of the longing in which I have come, for only a graveling resting place for a cadaver. Extending one last time with my final exhaling breath as I extract all that is left...I reach enough, as my eyes slowly begin to close, I capture a heart-stopping glimpse of your radiance through a magnifying teardrop in my eye. As I dove through the air only but down, life escapes me, but my final image leaves me at peace and will remain with my spirit through eternity for it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Do you like my little poem ? There’s holes in my shoes, city feels cold dark & gritty, Feels like thorns in my side, things around here aint really cooking pretty, , people living like jaded rats, all tied up to chairs, my elevator mind is stuck on you, My dreams feel like going down two floors, to nature wonderland singing like a bird, full of surprise Gonna take a ride to misty mountains, where Gollum’s kitchen lives, Release all tension & where our sweet deep rivers kiss the sea, come with me as it’s crowded Out here in concrete jungle land? Leave your stilettos and jewellery behind, listen for good, Before you change your mind, pour me a tequila and red wine Those home town folks won’t mind, as we drive away into club indigo sunrise
What do you think of my 2 poems? Its my dream to one day publish a book of my poems. This is my work- Please give me your honest opinion and any feelings that you have about them. Also what you interpret the poem to be about it. Thanks.*** Forgotten yesterday already played the denial game, and the blame game its all the same, either way. Forgotten you you said you loved me too said our love was true dont know how you do what you do. Forgotten tears, the ones that peirce like spears deafening my own ears even while I block away my own fears. Forgotten memories, the ones that never fade jaded expectations made to cover over the surface with shade. Forgotten identity, for it's been too long the long road turned wrong been to far strung along. Forgotten peace, like how to put my soul at ease life brought me to my knees never thinking of my own needs Inside my heart bleeds. Forgotten happiness, somewhere smiles lie behind this mess got buried in stress never again will I settle for less. Forgotten dreams, the ones I dremt of scream un-noticed it seems hidden behind mountains destined for wings. Forgotten prayers, the ones I stayed up late for someone to hear the Lord was there and now I am here. Forgotten hate, Resentment replaced No more lines upon my face I found my place. PASS YOU BY There is a calming in the tide- The night is so silent, it seems to stands still. A moon fuller than ever any moon, Rises above the many people below; -Destined to fall without wings. Night skies glow in a city of potency; Vibrant clouds- All floating by with wishes and dreams held high. In a dreamers eyes, Time is only as important as the next great plan, Delusions of some paradise, Soon to be cut short by a steady hand. Tomorrows’ shadows whisper your fate; Laughter swallows the chiming clock; -As yesterday bellows its goodbyes. I feel the breeze through my hair. Pondering the days flaws, Wondering why, even though the beauty around me is so clear, There are so many hearts broken, And so many eyes wet with tears. Though, I know there is a lesson here, On this Earth, For even as your insides crumble, The sea still tastes of salt, Even as you continually stumble, The sun will still burn, And this world will still turn; Life will still go on. If strength in yourself can not be found, If courage you can not hold, If you can not find talent in God's gifts, Instead choosing to lie down and cry Life will laugh in your teary eyes, And wave as it passes you by. okay charlie....you obviously dont know ANYTHING about the art of poetry because clearly you didnt get how meaningful they actually are. its very hard for me to show my writing. These are two that I decided to put on here, they are from a while ago, I have happy things too. But when I write its about real life things Im going though. The awakened soul (more recent) Against all odds I stood to face All of the demons that burrowed deep, At night when the moon stood high, It was the soul of the ocean that did not sleep. She took my hand and led me to the waters, And dared me to take a chance, All at once her movement sung to me, And my spirit began to dance. Winds encircled my presence, Embracing all I am, Becoming one with the shadows, Building dreams from sand. Immense understanding, Life in an instant is both cloudy and clear; It is but a gamble- To submerge and surrender without fear.
