If you have a US green card do you need to have a visa to travel to Taiwan and Tokyo?

  1. This is not the case. What matters is what is your passport. Where are you from? If you are from a country that requires visa before entering Japan or Taiwan then still you have to get visa. US Green Card is only in effect when you are in the United States of America. Anywhere else it doesn't make you any more special.
